Our Purpose
At LearnEd, we strive to promote equity in and across classrooms, schools and districts for all students every day regardless of where they live and what their backgrounds are. We believe in learner-centered classrooms where students feel empowered through their voice and choice. Cultivating young leaders who are critical, independent, and discerning thinkers is our goal, and we get there by transforming adult learning with the strengths-based belief that, like students, all adults can learn, grow and improve.
Our Services
Districtwide Improvement
We raise the standards and overall quality of teaching and learning throughout your district by providing customized coaching and facilitation of networked improvement communities focused on tackling an instructional problem of practice in the district.
Schoolwide Improvement
We aim to decrease the variability of teaching across grade levels and classrooms in order for every student to experience equitable learning outcomes. We do this through tailored, in-person coaching to continuously improve the instructional core, the vertical and professional learning community (PLC) structures, as well as strengthening teacher leadership.
Teacher Team Improvement
Teacher teams are the engine that drive school improvement. We provide targeted, in-school coaching with a laser-like focus on improving teaming structures and lateral teacher leadership, and improving instruction through intervisitation, Japanese lesson study, and instructional coaching cycles.
Coaching Coaches
Coaching skills are critical regardless of role or title. We provide workshops for leaders centered on building strong learning communities rooted in adult learning principles, engaging in powerful interactions, listening as a critical skill, providing effective feedback for growth, understanding resistance, and cultivating meaningful relationships for student success.
Family Workshops
We strive to build long-lasting and effective partnerships between home and school on behalf of students, families and communities. Our workshop topics include, but are not limited to, understanding child and adolescent development, experiencing the joy of math as a family, and how families can support children with homework and academic success.
Culturally Responsive Teaching
At LearnEd, we believe that diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and social emotional learning all have a unique place in culturally responsive teaching and learning. This is why we intentionally and unapologetically integrate these research-based practices into our holistic approach to equity-centered improvement.

In addition, we offer support to districts on unpacking the New York State Culturally Responsive Sustaining-Education Framework (CRS-E), implementing culturally responsive practices in the classroom, unpacking your and your students' identities to build an inclusive classroom community, amongst other workshops.
